It has been more than 7 years since I started working in the health care field, and I have dedicated my career to the critical care and emergency medicine ever since. I don’t have any problem with fast paced environments, and I am proficient in medical terminology, practice, and procedures. In addition, I also have more than three years of experience in providing support for medical professional.
Some of the qualities I am proud of are working efficiently, dependable, flexible, and have a strong communication skills and interaction. I am also a hard worker, self motivated, capable of multi-tasking, and well organized.
My experience as medical assistant includes: answering phones, scheduling appointments, getting the medical record and history of the patients, facilitating referrals, managing medical records, recording and transcribing important meetings, writing office letters, EKG, and assisting the physicians during the patient’s treatment.
I also have medical transcription skills, Medisoft Office program skills, Microsoft Office program skills with 65 wpm of keyboard speed, CPT coding, EMR, and ICD-9, and excellent ability in obtaining vital signs. I am aiming to continue growing by serving an established practice which I can apply my knowledge and skills to.
I think that the good relation between medical professionals and patient is an important asset for a clinic. That is why I intend to provide the best service I can give to this office’s patients.
