What is the current USC Dental School ranking and reviews? I am sure this is one of the first questions popped in the minds of aspiring future students of the school. This school is now named Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC, and it remains as one of the best dental school in United States.

The school is located in Los Angeles, on the 925 West 34th Street. It offers comprehensive programs with several specializations, including endodontics, pediatric dentistry, prosthodontics, periodontics, orthodontics, oral medicine, operative dentistry and maxillofacial surgery.

There are around 144 students admitted every year at the dental program of the USC dental school, which is rather large compared to the average number of students admitted in dental schools in United States. The students admitted here in average have a 3.50 GPA score and 20 DAT score. They also have to bring two letters of recommendations. Being one of the best campuses for dentistry, the acceptance rate is rather low (less than 5% of the applicants are enrolled). Once you are enrolled in this school, you will have to complete the program for around 48 months.

The dentists graduated from this school are excellent in their clinical ability, thanks to the complete education, theoretically and clinically. Overall, the school has an excellent educational environment. It has one of the best dental school experience in the west of United States.

Now what are people complaining about the place? First off, the tuition price is very expensive, even when it’s compared to other dental school. Compared to the average tuition of dental school in United States, the tuition for the Herman Ostrow School of Dentistry of USC is twice as expensive. The students also complain about the Problem-Based Learning curriculum, which can be quite challenging for some.
